Tom RichterSpeaker: Tom Richter
Who is Tom Richter?
I am a follower of Jesus. Which, at any given moment, means I am a pastor, speaker, husband, father and ultimate Frisbee player of average to moderate ability.

What Does He Do?
I travel and speak to groups of people about Jesus. I am the pastor of a church located in the center of the most ethnically diverse county in the United States. This church is called New Hope. New Hope was started in 1997 in an effort to help reach the fantastic, quirky, surprising, delicious, and never dull part of NYC that is the boro called Queens. New Hope does not own a building, and we currently meet in a Lutheran Church in the neighborhood of Jamaica, Queens. Check out www.newhopeny.org for more info. And of course, if you are going to be in NYC, come on by.  We meet at 6:00pm, and we will save you a seat.

What is His Background?
Like so many, I was born at an early age. Raised in the sleepy college town of Murray, KY, I grew up a happy fellow, interested in basketball, Nintendo, and church. God found me as a young boy, and as mystical as it sounds I really believe God called me to be a preacher. After High School, I went to Murray State University and got a degree in English Literature, and then got an M.Div. from Princeton Theological Seminary. I am married to Jackie, and I have two kids, Katie and Carson.

Alanna StoryWorship: Alanna Story
The Story Behind Alanna Story
Born into a family with a deep faith and musical heritage, Anna Hodge and Ally West had a passion for music since they were very young. As the sisters grew in their walks with God, they found music to not only be their response to the things they experienced - both painful and beautiful things - but also a tool to connect to the heart of God and help others do so as well. In addition to being original artists, the sisters also have a strong calling to lead worship. Over the years doors opened for Ally and Anna to share and lead together and in 2008 Alanna Story officially began. The band was divinely (and literally) formed into a family, comprised of Ally’s husband, Stephen (electric guitar/mandolin), Anna’s husband, Ben (drums), and Joel Burkhead (bass), whom the girls consider a brother. Uniting incredible talent and more importantly sincere hearts for worship, the band creates a powerful, energetic atmosphere for others to encounter the presence of God. They have released three recording projects, Keep Breathing (2009) Flickering Spark (2011) and Just Offshore (2013), and have shared the stage with many national recording artists. As their territory expands, Alanna Story’s main pursuit remains to love God and lead others into His presence.

Jared HallIllusionist: Jared Hall
Doing illusions gets him into places where otherwise the truth of God might not be taken.
The Texas-born Illusionist Jared Hall started doing some magic tricks at the age of 10, and by the time he was in high school, he was known around town as the magic guy.  Jared will keep you on the edge of your seat as he performs a straight jacket escape, makes objects float or simply finds your chosen card.  Using illusions and comedy to present the gospel in relevant, engaging ways, Jared travels extensively across the nation,  Jared does shows for many conferences, festivals, outreach events, youth camps, and Upward award nights. He has shared the stage with many artists including Chris Tomlin, Louie Giglio, David Crowder,  Toby Mac,  Jeremy Camp, and Leeland.
